Thank you very much for your support of the 2021 Mining for Miracles fundraising campaign. Thanks to the generosity of the BC mining community, Mining for Miracles successfully raised over $1.8 million for BC Children’s Hospital.

This achievement was made possible thanks to the continued generosity from individuals and corporations throughout the mining industry in BC. Thanks to the dedication of hundreds of mining, exploration and development companies, service providers and suppliers industries, the children in our province are able to receive the best possible health care when they need it most.

Despite an uncertain year, Mining for Miracles was able to hold our annual Pie Throw event once again with its first ever virtual edition where we successfully raised over $1.46 million. We are also grateful to have held our annual Hooked on Miracles once again where an additional $150,500 was raised. We are thrilled at the outpour of generosity we have seen this past year, and we are thankful for your support as Mining for Miracles continues its commitment to raising funds for the Cellular and Regenerative Medicine Centre (CRMC) at BC Children’s Hospital.

In January 2020, Mining for Miracles announced its current funding commitment to raise $3.385 million to establish the BC Children’s Hospital’s Cellular and Regenerative Medicine Centre. . The first of its kind in Western Canada, the CRMC will give clinicians at BC Children’s Hospital the tools to better understand the genetic cause of heart arrhythmias. The CRMC will result in improve diagnoses, identification of optimal treatments, and potentially, cures—improving and saving the lives of our children across the province and beyond.

We are grateful for your support. Your donations make a significant impact in the lives of thousands of patients and their families who rely on the services at BC Children’s Hospital.

With gratitude,
